OVERVIEW
Field intelligence for water and drainage infrastructure
Watershed Command is a proposed system for the environmental infrastructure most communities only notice when it fails: streams, culverts, storm drains, retention areas, and the drainage networks that decide whether rain becomes a nuisance or a disaster.
It is currently in concept development, packaged as a pilot kit—a defined starting configuration a watershed council, municipality, or civic organization could deploy with us to test the model on real ground.
01 // THE ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGE
Watershed and drainage knowledge is scattered across agencies, volunteer groups, spreadsheets, and long-time residents' memories. Conditions are observed constantly—by neighbors, work crews, and community scientists—but those observations rarely become structured, shareable records.
When flooding, blockages, or contamination emerge, responders start from incomplete information: where the problem is, what it looked like last month, who is responsible, and what has already been tried.
02 // THE FIELD-REPORTING CONCEPT
Watershed Command applies the same operational spine as our security work to environmental ground truth. Trained volunteers, crews, and residents capture water conditions, drainage observations, and flooding reports on mobile—each one photographed, geolocated, and structured.
Those observations flow onto a shared watershed map and status dashboard: what's healthy, what's degrading, what's blocked, what's urgent. Agencies and civic organizations coordinate response from the same picture, and every commitment leaves an accountable record.
